Bilfinger Berger Project Investments has developed six secondary schools in Kent, worth €155 million for its client Kent County Council. The redevelopment includes the construction of new buildings for each school as well as extensive reconfiguration and refurbishment, delivering much needed improvements to the school sites.
Considerable emphasis has been placed on the provision of Information Communication Technology (ICT) and allied security technology for the design of the new schools. FM services include all hard maintenance throughout the project lifecycle together with a range of soft services including catering and caretaking.
"When I first walked into the new school I was amazed. I knew I would want to come to school if this was going to be my learning environment."
Kristie Fisher, year 8 pupil at Aylesford School Sports College, Kent, UK.
